Aruba Windsurfing
Aruba has a perfect combination of temperature, wind strength and water conditions for beginning and expert windsurfers. It is therefore no surprise that Aruba is known as one of the best places on earth to practice windsurfing.
Fisherman's Huts is an exciting an ideal Windsurfing spot for beginners to learn windsurfing and for advanced sailors to blast their way over the water. It is safe, with waist deep, perfectly flat water. Fisherman's Huts is just 200 yards to the left of the last high rise hotel.
We rent equipment and give lessons to beginners -young and old- and to advanced sailors. Learn windsurfing, you will be amazed how much fun it is. Wim is Aruba's number one sailor and has won various international freestyle competitions. Improve your sailing in ideal conditions. Let us help you!
Aruba Kitesurfing
Kitesurfing is the fastest growing water sport in the world. It is spectacular, wild and addicting. Give it a try during your holidays.
Aruba is blessed with good winds, almost year round. This, together with flat waters at Fisherman's Huts makes Aruba a pristine spot to learn kitesurfing.
We provide kitesurf lessons and courses. We give lessons at every level. For kitesurf beginners we start on the beach learning how to control a kite. After some time you are ready to get on the water. We have two priorities: your safety and fun.
kitesurf lessons include instructions from our kitesurf instructor, kite gear, life vest, rescue boat, non-alcoholic drinks (....don't drink and fly), pick-up and drop-off at your hotel. We are always close to you with a safety boat. With its waist deep warm water Fisherman's Huts is an ideal spot to try this exiting sport. Obviously, you have to be an able swimmer to practice this sport. Try it...
Aruba Mountain Biking
What better to explore the rough north side of the island than with a mountain bike. Aruba Active Vacations offers top quality TREK bikes and protective gear.
You can either rent our bikes simply to have an easy mode of transportation or to make exploration trips. We provide you with maps with scenic routes. We go there by car and from there we explore the beautiful North Shore.
We offer two mountainbike tours
Tour # 1. Enjoy a ride through the Aruban countryside, leveled to your own skills, with one of our professional tour guides. We start the tour at our windsurfing school and make our way to the California Lighthouse,where you can take pictures of the beautiful panorama. We continue and will pass the Tierra Del Sol Golf course and move on over dirt roads to the landscape of Aruba's north shore.
