JetBlue Airways launches service to Mexico with special introductory rates
Non-stop flights between New York and Cancun commence November 30
(September 25, 2006) – The low-fare carrier JetBlue Airways will begin flying between its hub in New York and Cancun beginning November 30, 2006.
In celebration of the carrier’s inaugural service to Mexico, JetBlue will offer special introductory fares each way between New York and Cancun, as well as between Cancun and the following destinations with connecting service at JFK: Boston, MA; Burlington, VT; Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse, NY; Pittsburgh, PA; and Washington DC.
Jet Blue is among a string of airlines to put Mexico on its radar as other low-fare and major carriers have been expanding schedules and launching new routes in response to rising demand for service to Mexico destinations.
