White Plains, New York (January 13, 2005) - Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has earned the distinction of having 51 of its hotels and resorts included on Condé Nast Traveler’s prestigious Gold List and Gold List Reserve featured in the magazine’s January 2005 issue. Included for the first time is The Westin at Our Lucaya Beach & Golf Resort in The Bahamas, which made the Gold List Reserve.
Located on Grand Bahama Island, The Westin is situated at the quiet end of Our Lucaya’s beach, making it a perfect romantic getaway. The hotel’s deluxe 749 rooms and suites, most with ocean views, all feature The Westin’s signature all-white Heavenly Bed with a custom-designed pillow-top mattress, three crisp sheets, down blanket, comforter, duvet, and five goose down/goose feather pillows.
