The Resort is located on the largest of 365 unspoiled and mostly uninhabited islands within the 120-mile Exuma archipelago in The Bahamas. The intimate 183-room resort, is set on 470 pristine acres, surrounded by tranquil turquoise waters and a mile-long, powdery white sand beach.
Located less than 300 miles southeast of Miami and Ft Lauderdale (less than two hours by air) and 150 miles from Nassau (a 40-minute flight), Four Seasons Resort on Great Exuma is easy to reach with daily commercial and private air service to Great Exuma International Airport (GGT). Accommodations at Emerald Bay in Exuma
Guest accommodations at Four Seasons Resort on Great Exuma blend seamlessly with the resort’s Bahamian Colonial architecture, bougainvillea trellises and native landscaping. Designed in the shape of a crescent to complement the natural arc of Emerald Bay, guest rooms and suites at Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma are located in a cluster of three-storey buildings with white Bahamian sloped, tiled roofs and shuttered, pastel stucco exteriors. Each room offers either secluded terraces, or balconies, all facing Emerald Bay. The resort features 140 oversized guest rooms, starting at 48 square metres (512 square feet), and an extensive collection of 43 luxurious suites. Thirty-six Four Seasons executive suites feature a separate living room, and two full bathrooms. The six one-bedroom beachfront suites are ideal for families and private entertaining, with a king or double-bedded room, separated by a large living room, along with two bathrooms. The three-bedroom Royal Villa has a private pool and a peaceful patio courtyard for al fresco dining and relaxing.

Located on one of the most beautiful beaches at Great Exuma, the resort provides an excellent bathing, swimming and water sports venue, and is complemented by a new full-service marina. Golf legend Greg Norman designed the 18-hole, par-72, 6,880-yard golf course at the resort. It features six ocean-side holes with spectacular views and innovative, environmentally friendly seashore paspalum bentgrass fairways. The island’s native vegetation of sea grapes, silver buttonwood and cabbage palms sway in the prevailing southeastern trade winds. The lush green fairway requires little fertilizer and uses salt water for irrigation.
A new spa experience is now offered in the Caribbean at the Resort’s 3,011-square-metre (32,406-square-foot) full-service spa and fitness club. A secluded tranquil garden offers the resort’s wellness programme including yoga and meditation.
