Cayman Islands are free for kids with the Summer Splash promotion
Cayman Islands (February 7, 2005) – Children can fly, stay, eat, and play for free this summer and fall in the Cayman Islands. From June 1 until November 15, 2005, families can partake in the unique activities of the Cayman Summer Splash promotion.
The 2005 Cayman Islands Summer Splash promotion includes one free night when you stay for a minimum of five nights (stay five nights and pay for four), in either hotel or condominium accommodations; free flights for kids on Cayman Airways (one child per paying adult); fifty per cent off all diving or certification for children (one child 11 years or younger per paying adult); free water sports and attractions for kids (one child per paying adult); free meals off the kid’s menu in all participating restaurants for children 12 years or younger (one child per paying adult); and a $150 American Express gift cheque with the purchase of a Cayman Summer Splash five-night vacation package using an American Express card.
Vacationers can also book the Cayman Islands Summer Splash promotion as a land-only package, which includes accommodation and diving, and allows visitors to pay for air separately.
Also this summer, children will enjoy the second season of the popular Cayman Islands Sea School featuring Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants. This free program combines fun and learning as it teaches children aged five through eleven about the marine environment - in perhaps the world’s most ideal natural classroom. One afternoon a week, children and their families enjoy fun interactive sessions, which include a SpongeBob episode, a short talk on the historic shipwrecks of the Cayman Islands, the importance of preserving the marine environment, and hands-on activities with customized activity books and crafts. Upon conclusion of the program each child receives a diploma presented by SpongeBob himself.
