Caribbean gourmet oasis shows commitment to cuisine
Anguilla’s CuisinArt Resort & Spa chooses new Elysée-trained food and beverage manager
New York, New York, USA (January 6, 2006) - With the arrival of Emmanuel Perignon as food and beverage manager, CuisinArt Resort & Spa in Anguilla further strengthens its reputation as the Caribbean’s top gourmet resort.
Perignon brings to the luxury resort international expertise and an excellent ability to manage and work with local staff. CuisinArt’s new food and beverage manager trained in France at the Elysée Palace and the French Embassy before moving to London’s three-Michelin-star restaurant, Le Gavroche. From London Perignon joined Le Meridien, working first in Bora Bora and then at the 603-room Le Meridien in Nigeria. At both Meridien properties he developed strong management skills, successfully training and motivating a large and diverse local work force.
Perignon was most recently food and beverage manager at France’s four-star luxe Le Chateau de Bagnols. He brings to CuisinArt a solid knowledge of food and beverages, valuable international business experience, and an ability to manage both small and large environments.
Located on the island paradise of Anguilla, CuisinArt Resort and Spa is nestled into a crescent-shaped curve of Rendezvous Bay. Mediterranean-styled villas offer guests luxuriously appointed rooms and suites, and the resort includes a full-service spa. CuisinArt is renowned for its unique cuisine, which is enhanced by fresh-picked produce from the island’s only on-site hydroponic farm.
