Travel packages available for this Caribbean festival set for May 5-14
(February 2, 2006) – Dubbed “The Best Party in the Caribbean,” St Lucia Jazz 2006 is set to run May 5-14 with an impressive lineup of Grammy Award winners and jazz greats.
The formidable lineup includes Grammy Award-winners Seal, known for his chart topper “Kiss from a Rose,” and multiple award winner and songwriter Kenny “Baby Face” Edmunds, who makes a comeback after a rained-out jazz climax in 2004. The bill also includes R&B sensation Ciara, the legendary Al Green, Nancy Wilson and Freddy Cole, jazz greats Poncho Sanchez and Kenny Garrett, performers from Barbadian singing sensation Rihanna and St Lucia's Sisterhood. Headliners for the opening show as well as the local lineup remain to be announced.
