Spirit Airlines offers fares as low as $49 each way to the Caribbean
Book sale tickets by June 25, 2006, for travel to The Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA (June 19, 2006) – Spirit Airlines is offering fares as low as $49 each way to Caribbean destinations, including The Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Curly is the third named sale of the Spirit Sale Season, which runs June 1-November 15, 2006. Sale Curly must be booked by June 25, 2006, for travel as specified below.
Sample fares from Fort Lauderdale are as follows: to Nassau, Bahamas, $49* each way; to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands(1), $69* each way; to Kingston or Montego Bay(1), Jamaica, $79* each way; to Cancun, Mexico, $89* each way; to San Juan, Puerto Rico, $99* each way; and to Santo Domingo or Punta Cana(1), Dominican Republic, $99* each way.

Spirit Airlines’ Hurricane Buster Protection offers customers the ability to make changes to their reservations without a change fee if there is a hurricane watch in effect for their origin or destination airport June 1-November 15, 2006. This protection offers customers peace of mind and protection against stormy travel disruptions.

*Fares must be booked on spiritair.com between 11am on 6/19/06 and 11:59pm ET on 6/25/06 for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only between August 15 and November 15, 2006, unless otherwise noted. Fares are for coach class travel and reflect the spiritair.com discount. Fares require a 21-day advance purchase. Fares are each way based on round-trip purchase, and round-trip travel is required on the dates specified to and from each origin and destination city. Fares do not include (a) a segment tax of $3.30 per US domestic flight segment of a passenger's itinerary: a flight segment is defined as one takeoff and landing; (b) up to $18 per round trip in local airport charges; and (c) September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement originating at a US airport, up to $5 per one way or $10 per round trip. Virgin Island/Puerto Rico fares do not include government taxes and fees of $14.50. International fares do not include government taxes and fees up to $125 per round trip.
