2007 SHARK SHOOTOUT FILLING UP FAST
Photographers take note: Join us for the 2007 Great Bahamas Shark Shootout, hosted by Stephen Frink October 6-13, 2007. This event has been extremely popular for the last five years! We even had some of last year’s participants reserve their space before we knew the dates!
So what makes this event so special? Stephen Frink. He is the most frequently published underwater photographer in the world. Add to that Stuart Cove’s, the most famous shark wranglers in the world, a destination abundant in big animals and you have a surefire formula for success in photographing those once-in-a-lifetime shots.
For more information on this event visit www.sharkshootout.com. Space is limited so don’t delay!
NEW ARTIFICIAL REEF
In keeping with our commitment to excellent diving, Stuart Cove’s has been working hand in hand with the Bahamian government for a number of years to create new artificial reefs by sinking large military boats and oil tankers. These vessels are donated by their owners with the approval and cooperation of the Bahamian government, thereby allowing Stuart Cove’s to sink one or two vessels per year for the last eight years.
On February 23 we will sink yet another military boat by the name of Port Nelson. This vessel is a 130-foot marine patrol boat that has been donated by the Bahamas Defense Force.
