George Town, Grand Cayman, British West Indies (March 15, 2005) - Cayman Airways’ 2005 summer schedule begins with daylight savings time on April 3. Highlights of the new schedule are as follows.
Please note: to accommodate the holiday weekends in May, June, and July, the regular Cayman Brac, Havana, and Fort Lauderdale Sunday flights move to holiday Monday.
Boston
Seasonal round-trip service to Boston departs Fridays at 3:30pm northbound and Saturdays southbound at 9am. Boston service will be discontinued after April 30 and will be reinstated on November 18.
Cayman Brac
Four weekly round-trip jet services between Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac will continue with departures at 5:15pm. The current non-stop service from Miami to Cayman Brac on Saturdays will continue to be offered.
Chicago
Round-trip services between Grand Cayman and Chicago continue with an earlier northbound Saturday departure at 3:45pm and a later southbound Sunday departure at 8:30am. This service will operate until September 5 and then be reinstated on November 19.
Fort Lauderdale
Twice weekly round-trip services between Grand Cayman and Fort Lauderdale continue with Friday flights departing northbound at 11:45am and those on Sunday departing at 1:40pm.
Havana
Three weekly round-trip flights continue to Havana departing Fridays and Sundays at 3:20pm and Wednesdays at 1:30pm. (Not Mondays as previously included).
Houston
Twice weekly round-trip services to Houston continue on Thursdays and Sundays with an additional Saturday round-trip flight available June 18 through September 10. All flights to Houston depart at 9:15am.
Jamaica
Service to Jamaica will increase to eight weekly round-trips with a daily 7am departure Monday through Saturday, and a 7pm departure on Fridays and Sundays. A fourth service to Montego Bay on Saturday mornings has been added to the present Monday, Wednesday and Friday flights.
Miami
Daily round-trip service between Grand Cayman and Miami continues with northbound departures at 7:40am, 12:35pm and 5:30pm.
Orlando
Seasonal round-trip service to Orlando is effective July 1 through September 5 departing on Fridays at 11:55am and returning on Mondays at 5:15pm.
Tampa
Five weekly round-trip services between Grand Cayman and Tampa include a new service on Saturday. Flights on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday depart northbound at 11:45am and those on Friday and Sunday depart at 10am.
