Anguilla, Antigua, Dominica, St Thomas and St Croix to receive increased air service during December
San Juan, Puerto Rico (September 4, 2006) – American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will increase its number of flights to a number of Caribbean destinations during the month of December. The airline will offer additional flights to Antigua, Dominica, Anguilla, St Thomas and St Croix using an ATR72 turbo-prop aircraft with capacity for 64 passengers.
“The additional flights are part of our continuous efforts to solidify San Juan as the premier Caribbean hub for American and American Eagle,” said Ed Criner, president of American Eagle in the Caribbean, Florida and The Bahamas. “The Caribbean region has always provided the traveller with secluded beaches, extraordinary food, wonderful music and spare time to relax. “We believe that the additional flights will benefit all passengers, as it will expand the flight offerings to both customers in San Juan and those connecting through the San Juan hub,” said Pedro Fabregas, vice-president of Finance and Planning for American Eagle in the Caribbean, Florida and The Bahamas.
