This intimate Antiguan Hotel is situated in the centre of historic Nelson's Dockyard in English Harbour in one of the original buildings constructed by Lord Nelson during the period 1783 .It was used to store copper and lumber for ship building and maintenance. The process of authentic restoration and conversion of the property into a Georgian Inn was begun in 1982 to 1988. Today the Dockyard houses a world class marina facility providing the opportunity to vacation steps away from some of the most luxurious and famous yachts in the sailing world.
As home to the Antigua Charter Yacht Meeting, Antigua Classic Regatta and Antigua Sailing Week, the Copper and Lumber Hotel is a great location for sailors or enthusiasts to join in the fun.

V.C. Bird International Airport, located on the northeast corner of Antigua, is the point of entry for visitors arriving by air to Antigua and Barbuda. Scheduled and charter service is available to many of the neighboring islands.
