Dining
The cookery of the Bahamas has been influenced by many cultures. Elements of the American South, the Caribbean, Britain, Spain and Africa have altered the course of Bahamian cuisine throughout history. Tomato-based dishes, featuring local seafood and meat, and with seasonings such as thyme and spicy hot peppers, are frequent and popular main courses. Native fruits and locally produced rum feature in local desserts and cocktails.
The Bahamian brewed Kalik-Beer tastes delicious. The same is with the various Rum-Mix drinks, like Bahama Mama or Goombay Smash etc. We serve excellent red and white wines from around the world.
