Arcavilla, located on a hill in a quiet location, can be rented as a whole self catering villa or only as Bed&Breakfast, with 6 bedrooms in total, each with private bathroom and air conditioning. Guest will relax on hammocks by the swimming pool or at the shade of a gazebo enjoying the sea breeze and the stunning view over Falmouth and English Harbour. It is ideal for friends and family reunion, crews or honey moon couples only.
Alberta, the Italian owner, will live in one side of the house and she'll be happy to help you with anything you'll need to make your holiday enjoyable, but, don't worry, she'll never intrude on your stay, giving you 100% privacy. Upon request she could prepare any meals at extra cost.
Accommodations
Double room
The 2 double rooms has queen size bed and wooden floor and furniture. You will have your privacy as there is a private bathroom in Italian design.
Twin room
The 3 twin bedrooms has 2 single beds each and private bathroom in Italian design. They face on the garden for your tranquillity holiday.
Studio
In the lower level there is a studio with independent entrance, an open plan kitchen and a bunk bed with a small double with a single bed over it.
Location
Arcavilla is located in the South side of Antigua where the most peaceful and entertaining areas are. Just a brief drive away you can arrive to several beaches with clear crystal water, such as Galleon beach or Pigeon beach...or you can be going back in time visiting the historical Nelson's Dockyard and discover how the British first settled in this spectacular island. Also with maximum 10 minutes you can go grocery shopping, sightseeing, watching spectacular sunset, walking on the docks where super yachts are moored, eating in some of the finest restaurants on the island or join the night life and party.
The Italian owner will live in one side of the house, but you will have your own privacy and exclusive use of the pool and if you wish, you should agree with them cooking delicious meals for you.
Getting There
Arcavilla is located in the South side of Antigua only 5 minutes driving to wonderful beaches with clear crystal water, as Galleon Beach and Pigeon Beach, and 7 minutes from Historical Nelson's Dockyard , markets and resaturants with top of night life entertainment.
Antigua is known as the island with 365 beaches, one for every different day of the year and you can reach some of them as Half Moon Bay, Darkwood, Galley Bay and Dickenson Bay in only 30 minutes maximum driving.
Local area information and attractions description:
From Arcavilla in only 7 minutes driving you can reach the marinas of English Harbour with restaurants and shopping, but during the day you should enjoy the clear crystal water of Pigeon and Galleon beaches. If it is not enough you should visit the historical Nelson Dockyard and see mega yachts coming from all over the world. In only 5 minutes from Arcavilla there is a stable where they arrange nice horse riding on the beach or on the near hills. But if this is not enough, it is possible to organize scuba diving, snorkeling, Kite surf, play golf, sailing , swimming with sting rays......or relax at the tropical sun!
