About
Come to Great Guana Cay and experience life on a small Out-Island in The Islands of the Bahamas. Guana Cay stretches seven miles tip to tip, with a five mile long beach which many consider the best in the Bahamas. The Great Abaco Barrier Reef is less than 50 feet offshore. The reef fishing is excellent, and the bonefish are plentiful in the shallow bays. The settlement stretches along the bay at the head of Kidd's Cove, named after the pirate. The island has about 100 residents, mostly descended from Loyalists who left Virginia and the Carolinas after the American Revolution to settle in this remote place.

Dive Guana our dive shop located on premises, will take you scuba diving to the famous coral reefs of the Bahamas, snorkeling, or just island hopping. You can also rent a boat and/or snorkel gear.
