On the slopes of the Northern Range, with an ornate tapestry of blue-green tropical rainforest at its back and the lush Caroni Plains below, the Pax Guest House, established in 1916, is the oldest in the country. It is located in the Mount St. Benedict monastery complex, in the cooling breezes eight hundred feet above sea level and with six hundred acres of forest for you to explore. Pax is a mere twenty-minute drive from Piarco International Airport and twenty five minutes from the Capital, Port of Spain.
