US Virgin Islands named favourite destination for group meetings and incentive travel

THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands, August 30, 2007 - For the third consecutive year, subscribers to Corporate & Incentive Travel magazine have bestowed upon the United States Virgin Islands the publication¡¯s prestigious 2007 Award of Excellence, distinguishing America¡¯s Caribbean as a favorite destination for group meetings and incentive travel.
The award will be presented to the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism at the magazine¡¯s 23rd annual black-tie gala dinner on November 10, 2007, in New York City. In addition, the U.S. Virgin Islands will be recognized in Corporate & Incentive Travel¡¯s November 2007 issue as part of a unique dedicated supplement acknowledging destinations for having best served the meetings and/or incentive programs of the magazine¡¯s readers.
