Andros, Bahamas (September 26, 2012) - Well September is here and Small Hope is once again closed for all our annual renovations and, of course, the annual staff party.
Our fearless leader treated the entire staff to a fantastic day in Nassau. We had a band, great food, wonderful company and some water sports.
Our annual closing time is the perfect time to refinish boats and update our equipment. Our dive and maintenance staff are working tirelessly on refinishing our deep-sea fishing boat, the Pursuit and our main dive boat. Other staff members are helping update our Games Room and getting our cabins ready for another great year.
New dog at Small Hope
We have a new member of the Small Hope family! His name is Izzy and he is adorable. As many of you know, Sassy and her brother Scuba have grown up at Small Hope since they were only a few weeks old. Well Scuba has moved up to Jeff Birch's house and is living a life of luxury with Jeff's daughter taking great care of him. But Sassy was a little lonely so Jeff decided to get her a playmate. We found Izzy at the Nassau Humane Society and he has made a great addition to the resort.
He and Sassy are already best friends and love playing together in the water and around the resort. Izzy also likes to watch the dive boat leaving but loves to watch it returning to the dock.
