The thing about being on holiday is that you don't want it to end! To give guests more vacation time - a place to continue their party or take a few more deep breathes of relaxation before jetting off home, Air Margaritaville was created in the largest airport in the Caribbean - Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. It is a place to close the vacation with fun, great music, ice cold margaritas and big juicy cheeseburgers, just like Jimmy would want it. As he once said. "If life gives you limes, make margaritas."
"Airville 1" located at Gate 2 was the first airport location. To keep the party going there is a 30 foot race track bar offering all 52 different flavors of Margaritas or whatever concoction guests desire. Just in case Jimmy stops by or for fans to belt out their favorite Jimmy tunes with a Landshark Guitar Hero there is a stage. If relaxing is a guest's "fun" Airville 1 is the right spot. It has a cozy beach hut feel, with trees, greenery a swing and a hammock for guests to soothe away those thoughts of heading back to the real world. In a word "Escape."
Located at Gate 15 is "Airville 2." Built as a grand beach hut, Airville 2 sits an impressive two stories high, towering over the concourse. With spectacular views of the ocean on one side and the lush green Jamaican mountains on the other, it is hard to believe one is sitting in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a busy airport. Stress doesn't enter the perimeter of the restaurant!
Guests can party at the Tiki Bar with smiling and dancing bartenders and leave their mark by signing their autograph on the bar like thousands before have! If serenity is what guests have in mind, they can settle in on the second floor and enjoy the view or keep an eye out for Jimmy as the planes land, as he is an accomplished pilot and one never knows when he might land in Jamaica!
Offering a mix of Jimmy's signature "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and local Jamaican fare, the menu offers something to please everyone. Take out is available and there are two full Margaritaville Trading Posts for guests to buy that last piece of Buffett merchandise. Both Airvilles offer whatever guests' idea of what "Margaritaville" is.
